Who We Are
In 2021 Sara Groff decided it was time that Cedar Park have a group to bring together the LGBTQIA+ community and allies - CEDAR PARK PRIDE was born! Dawn Pratt joined as Treasurer and Kelley Holiday came on the board around June 2022 as Secretary. We welcome Cedar Park residents, business owners, and other supporters who embrace equality and work towards a more inclusive Cedar Park.
Sara (she/her) identifies as asexual and has an adult child who is a transwoman. Dawn (she/her) is a mama bear ally who has an adult child who is a transwoman. Kelley (she/her) identifies as pansexual and has an adult child who is non-binary and bisexual.
The City of Cedar Park had its first ever Pride Proclamation in June 2022 and Pride has been growing ever since.

Grateful Hearts - We couldn't do this without you!
We want to thank Cari Daugherty for sharing the memory of her daughter Jenny Winfree with us at Queens & Wings on April 23, 2023. Jenny attended Leander ISD and was a staunch LGBTQIA+ ally. She left this world all too soon. Her last event with her family and friends was at Queens & Wings on March 26 where she laughed and showed her joy for life. Jenny - you are missed and loved by many.
